TABLE TALKS 2025
CHRISTMAS 2024

Warmest Season's Greetings to everyone!
As we wrap up another season of sharing, teaching, fellowship, and community involvement at WPBTW, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering dedication to our monthly Table Talk sessions. Your commitment has allowed us to channel our passion and purpose into meaningful engagement—empowering each other and growing in faith together through prayer and the promises of God.
A special thank you goes out to our esteemed guest speakers who have made our Table Talk sessions truly memorable: Ms. Bettie Meadows, Dr. Palmonia Gordon, and Pastor Judian Edwards, we are immensely grateful for your support and willingness to share your wisdom with us.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who attended our inaugural outdoor luncheon; the sense of community was a true blessing! Your positive feedback means a lot, and we eagerly anticipate hosting this event again in 2025.
As we continue our mission beyond these walls, we cannot thank you enough for partnering with us in collecting items for Senior Care Packages through our Caring Means Sharing campaign. Your donations, both monetary and material, as well as your prayers have had a tremendous impact.
On December 17th, we collaborated with Evangelist Marcia Thomas and her team from Fresh Harvest International Outreach Ministries for an outreach initiative in downtown Toronto. Our WPBTW team prepared 100 sandwiches along with bottled water and care packs containing hats, gloves, socks, toothbrushes, toothpaste wet wipes, soap, and pocket Bibles. Fresh Harvest provided soup, and snacks for 100 individuals as well, along with additional care packs and gospel tracts.
Thanks to Evangelist Thomas's leadership, we were able to serve three areas by feeding those in need while listening compassionately to their stories. A heartfelt thank you goes out not only to those who donated items or funds, but especially to all who dedicated their time during this effort. Acts of Kindness is integral to WPBTW’s vision as it brings the Gospel into action while glorifying God; we are grateful that He chose to use us as His vessels on this downtown mission.
In addition to our outreach efforts, this year we mailed out/distributed 220 pocket Bibles and attended to 113 prayer requests.
Looking ahead toward 2025, we are excited about continuing engaging Table Talk discussions while remaining committed to community involvement. Thank you all once again for your partnership, dedication, and fellowship throughout this journey. Wishing you and your families a joyful holiday season brimming with health and happiness as well as a peaceful New Year filled with prosperity!

CHRISTMAS 2021

WPBTW will not be having a Table Talk session for the month of December and unfortunately due to Covid 19 restrictions, we will not be having our annual Community Care Christmas Dinner or Community Care Closet. During the month of December, we will be assembling and distributing Care Packs to a local women's shelter, a local community service organization and to homeless women in the downtown Toronto area. WPBTW is committed to distributing 150 Care Packs.
We would like to thank you all for your continued support and take this opportunity to wish you and your household a very healthy, happy and prosperous Holiday Season. We look forward to seeing you in the New Year.
A special thank you to those who personally contributed/donated to our Care Pack Campaign. We could not have done it without you:

Below are some statements from families that received donations. "I really appreciate everything you've given me, thank you so much. (Client teared up) And now I'm moving out soon and so many things are so helpful for me new home. I'm so happy." "This is so much, people have been so kind to me, I can't believe this. (Client teared up) People have given so much to me, I wish I could give something back." "Oh, nice. Thank you so much. Bless you that gave to me and my family." ![]() PARTICIPANTS FEEDBACK: First; let me say it was a pleasure to be invited to Women Purposed Beyond The Wall (WPBTW) official relaunch of the Purposed Table Talk. This time it was via Zoom, as they have been on hiatus for a while. The meeting started on time, and was underway, but as technology would have it there was a glitch with the meeting link, and an unintended outage occurred. However, the host and coordinator sprang into action and quickly issued a new meeting link to participants who were already in the meeting. With a sense of purpose and a heart of thanksgiving, most of the ladies were back in the meeting within a short time. Once the meeting reconvened, the host began with apologies and decided to start the meeting all over again; beginning with opening prayer and Scripture reading (Hebrews 11: 1-3). The commentary which followed was on “Faith.” I was overwhelmed with the sense that the message was so apropos for the situation which just took place and for the uncertain times that we are now living in. During the commentary, the speaker emphasized that Faith has to go beyond one’s sense of reason---beyond what we can see, touch, taste, smell and feel; that it has to push us to anticipate an outcome hoped for, but cannot yet comprehend---believing without a doubt that the outcome hoped for will come to pass. I especially loved the summary of what Faith builds. In that, Faith builds trust, confidence, perseverance, assurance, conviction, power, and authority; and that authority in Christ gives us permission to walk in the anointing. This was my first WPBTW Purposed Table Talk, and I was already witnessing the power and resiliency of this group. As the evening progressed, a conversation ensued around the topic of discussion, “Balance You,” how are you doing? I was intrigued by one of the ladies who commented that she is not phased by all the uncertainties happening in the past year, because of her Faith. Other ladies stated a diligence to safety protocol while trusting in God. The discussion proved to be a viable outlet for the women to express their fears and anxieties, and also to reassure each other that things will get better. The Table Talk concluded with an introduction of the next session’s guest speaker, Palmonia Gordon (Author, Speaker, & Blueprint Specialist), as well as the upcoming topic for discussion. WPBTW still apologizes to anyone who lost connection and was not able to get back into the Purposed Table Talk. If you would like to attend their next session, look for the upcoming information on their website, www.purposedbeyond.com. Again, I would like to thank WPBTW for allowing me to be part of an awesome evening. ----Z. Grant This event has concluded A Special thank you to everyone who attended, your participation was greatly appreciated. We look forward to seeing you again. For those who had trouble logging in to this event, our sincere apologies. See you at our next Purposed Table Talk. |
